Would we have to rent a car? How much does it cost / day?

Renting a car is always a good way to see the interior parts of the island... although you have to be careful, especially if you're not used to how the roundabouts work and driving on the left side of the road. If you mainly want to relax, party a bit, spend time at the beach, etc... then you won't need to rent a car. There is a ton to do in this area. There are also several beaches within walking distance (10-15 minute walks).
